    • LEGACY GIVING—BECOME A MEMBER OF OUR LEGACY SOCIETYPlease consider the Foundation in your estate plans!!

      The Foundation has a legacy society that is designed to give special recognition to anyone (alumni and non-alumni alike) who has notified the Foundation that it has been made a beneficiary of their estate.  What you give won’t be publicized.  No minimum is required either.  You only have to notify us that you have included us as a beneficiary in your estate.  It is that simple!!

      Arrangements should be made through your estate planner or lawyer.  Because the Foundation is a 501 (C)(3) non-profit organization, legacy gifts can have large tax benefits for the donor.

      Please send verification of donation to the Foundation when complete and we will establish a record of your legacy gift and make you a member of our Legacy Society.   To print the form: Click Here

  • Company Match

    • Amplify your gift through your company match program. Please check with your company to find out if it will match and how to do that.

  • Auditorium Seat Memorials Purchase

    • You can honor someone (teacher, school bus driver, student, parent, coach) by purchasing a plaque that is placed on a seat armrest in the high school auditorium.  The cost is $100.To View Form:  Seat Purchase Form

  • Venture Grant Supporter

    • The Venture Grant program is one of our biggest programs.  Due to the popularity with the staff, we need more donors.  Many school employees have signed up for payroll deductions to support this.  In addition, Gannon Insurance and Williams Oil Company each match the donations from the employees.   • Student Scholarships

    • You can fund a higher education student scholarship in part or in total.  This can be tailored to your own criteria.  It can be for one-time or multiple years. For more information, contact the Foundation Treasurer at (570) 265-9154 or foundation@tsd.k12.pa.us

  • Employee Payroll Deduction

    • Towanda School District Employees may donate through payroll deduction.For Form To Fill Out:  Click Here

  • Clubs Running Games of Chance

    • Pennsylvania law requires some types of clubs, which operate games of chance to donate a portion of their winnings to non-profit organizations.  Towanda Area School District Educational Foundation is acceptable under state law for that purpose.  We are pleased to say several organizations are making donations to us.  Please consider our foundation if you operate games of chance.  Contact the Foundation Treasurer at 570 265 9154 or foundation@tsd.k12.pa.us.

  • Golf Outing

    • This is our major fundraiser.  You can play and/or be a sponsor in our annual golf outing at the Towanda Country Club.  This is held Saturday of the same weekend as the homecoming football game.  Join a team or bring your own.  Be a scoreboard sponsor or hole sponsor.   To see last year’s registration form, or the form for the next event if available:  Click Here

  • Alumni Party

    • The alumni party is for all alumni class years as well as friends of the Foundation.  This is an annual event held in conjunction with the annual golf tournament fund-raiser and is the same weekend of the homecoming football game.  Typically, you will find food, drink, music, silent auctions, and great fun socializing with others. Come and help support the Foundation in its worthwhile mission.  This event is generally held at the Towanda Country Club from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m.  To view last year’s event/registration brochure or print off the brochure for the next event if it is available: Click Here

  • Amazon Smile

    • Amazon has a foundation known as “Amazon Smile.” When you buy from Amazon, you can help our Foundation at no additional cost to you! Click on the Amazon link below and chose Towanda Area School District Foundation as the charity you want to support. From that point forward, Amazon will donate .5% of your purchases to our Foundation. If you chose to participate, make sure you are shopping on smile.amazon.com. It’s exactly the same as amazon.com, but instead donates .5% of your purchases to our Foundation. This is a great and easy way to support our Foundation!!

  • Educational Improvement Tax Credit

    • Educational Improvement Tax Credit or EITC is a Pennsylvania state run program. A business may receive a state tax credit equal to between 75%-90% of its contribution to the Foundation for approved innovative educational projects for a one to two year commitment. The Foundation is listed as an Educational Improvement Organization published by the Department of Community and Economic Development that administers the program.
